Turn YouTube chapters into an editable presentation
The YouTube-to-presentation importer reads a public video's title, description and published chapter timestamps. Each chapter becomes a proposed slide section. A video without chapters does not provide enough structure for this importer and is rejected rather than guessed from unavailable transcript text.

Chapter-based conversion
Published chapters provide an explicit outline from the video creator: timestamp, section name and order. The importer preserves that order and presents the structure for review before the deck is created.
This is intentionally narrower than transcript summarization. The current product does not claim to transcribe speech or understand unchaptered videos.

When to use another input
If the video has no chapters, paste your own outline or use a related article or PDF as the source. That makes the factual basis visible and avoids pretending that unavailable transcript content was analyzed.
Frequently asked questions
Does it transcribe the video?
No. The current importer uses chapters already published in the video description.
What happens if there are no chapters?
The importer explains that it cannot build the outline and asks you to paste an outline instead.
Can I change the chapter titles?
Yes. The extracted outline is editable before and after the deck is created.
