What it generates

You give it a source and a slide count, and it produces an outline and then a deck with that structure - headings, bullet content and a template applied. The output lands directly in Google Slides when used as the add-on, or downloads as PowerPoint from the web version.

The generation is genuinely an outline first, which matters: the quality of the deck depends much more on whether the outline divided the topic sensibly than on the visual template applied afterwards.

Where AI deck tools fall short

Any tool in this category produces a competent structure and generic content. It is a fast way to get past a blank deck, not a way to get a finished one - the specifics, the actual argument, and anything that reflects your own data still have to be written.
