Too much text on an AI slide is a generation default
Models write paragraphs because paragraphs are cheap. A slide is a billboard. Cut until a person in the back row can read the title without a photo.
After MagicSlides returns a draft, the real work is deletion. Keep the claim, one number, one visual. Move the rest to notes.
Count the words on the wall
If you would not paint it on a poster, it does not belong at 40pt. Bullet stacks of 20 words are still paragraphs.
Regenerate one slide if the layout is broken. Do not regenerate the whole deck to fix a paragraph.
Charts are not an excuse
A chart plus a caption plus three takeaways is three slides. The model will mash them. Split them.

Is there a word limit I should set in the prompt?
Yes: “titles as claims, max six words per bullet.” Then still edit.
What if legal needs the paragraph?
Put legal in the appendix or the handout. Do not present it.
