Section divider slides have to earn their place
An AI deck will insert chapter cards because outlines like chapters. If the talk is twelve minutes, most of those cards are stalls. Delete them.
MagicSlides will outline first if you let it. Use that outline to cut, not to pad. A divider is only useful when the audience needs a breath.
Count the minutes
One slide per minute is already ambitious. Divider plus agenda plus recap of the divider is how you run long.
Keep a divider when you change jobs: from problem to proof, from proof to ask. Do not keep one because the template had a pretty blob.
Titles are claims
“Section 2” is not a claim. Write the point of the next block on the card or remove the card.

That is a draft. Cut to the number you can speak. Slide count is a setting, not a destiny.
