Cite the source URL on the slide if the deck came from a page
MagicSlides can turn a link into an outline. It cannot take legal responsibility for a number it scraped. Put the URL in speaker notes or a footer before you present.
A generated deck is a draft of someone else’s page until you check it. Source lines are how you stay honest in the room.
The prompt is not a citation
Pasting https://… into the generator is a convenience. The slide still needs a human who opened the page and kept the claim.
If you used YouTube chapters, write the video title. “AI said so” is not a source.
Footers survive export
PPTX will keep a small source line. A pretty template that strips it is how you present unsourced charts. Check the file, not only the web preview.
